Wainui endeavours to offer a variety of different Membership opportunities to appeal to a varying groups of individuals and organizations. One such offering is directed toward those individuals who are considered to be of Junior golf age as defined by the NZ Golf amateur governing body. The Junior Legacy membership focus is over time to create a multi-generational membership. This category is available to sons, daughters, grandchildren or blood relative of a current Wainui member in a playing category other than junior.

Following is a framework of charges and privileges relating to a Wainui Junior Legacy Membership.

Key Privileges:

• Unlimited access to the 9 hole short course 7 days a week with 14 days advance booking privileges. (Certain golf committee and corporate events will restrict tee access and will be posted well in advance of the date of play).
  

• Access to the Wainui course will be granted on an "as available" basis up to 24 hours in advance of the day of play. (Certain golf committee and corporate events will restrict tee access and will be posted well in advance of the day of play).

• All rounds on the Wainui course must be accompanied by a Member in good standing or by a green fee paying parent and/or guardian or be after all booked rounds have been started or at the discretion of the golf shop.

• 50% of the annual subscription is available to the junior member to be put towards golf tuition, used with a Wainui professional or one of the Wainui-run programs.

• Unaccompanied access to the Wainui course will be granted to those Junior Members who have successfully completed the Advanced Junior Golf Mentorship Program offered seasonally or been granted access by the Golf Shop and/or Golf Committee.

• May introduce up to 3 accompanied guests at “Guest of Member” rates during approved guest play times. Guest of Member times restricted Sat, Sun, and holidays until after 12:00 p.m. (subject to change)

• Available to participate in all Membership events within the Junior category.

• To receive all Membership preferred pricing discounts.

• Participation in the DotGolf services to receive an accredited handicap (all associated levies are included with the payment of subscription fees).

Policies

Fees are charged based on 12 months of privileges which will begin at the date of ratification by the Board.

Junior Membership will be issued in the name of an individual.

The applying individual is subject to a required ratification process for acceptance to Membership as outlined in the club constitution
