Membership FAQ

1 How can I join?

You may join by clicking the “Join Now” link on any of the Membership category landing pages. This will direct you to a fillable .pdf that can then be submitted electronically or in person to the Administration office. Payment of associated fees need to accompany an application to be accepted into Membership and gain the associated privileges.

2 Can I pay monthly?

Yes, there are several payments options you can elect to take for your yearly subs. There is a small administration fee to set up the auto-draw and finance the payment of the fees over the term of year. These details can be confirmed in discussion with the Administration office.

3 Can I introduce Guests?

Yes, you may introduce up to 3 accompanied guests at anytime with the payment of a guest of member green fee. Should you wish to introduce more than three (3) guests hosting arrangements can be made away from peak times. Please contact the golf shop to discuss.

4 When can I play?

In a general sense a Full Play Members has the option to play unlimited golf 7 days a week at any time other than protected tee times. There are certain protected tee times for various club groups that coordinate group competitions, eg. Ladies Day, Midweek Men, Pennants, etc. Please check with the Golf Shop to confirm.

5 Can I get a handicap?

Yes, your North Harbour and Dot Golf Association fees and included in your yearly Membership subs if you elect to participate in a “playing” category of Membership.

6 Can I host functions in the club rooms?

Yes, Membership provides an automatic discount for “room hire” for any of the clubrooms at the Wainui clubhouse location. Should you wish to coordinate a social or corporate event at the club please get in contact with our Sales Manager on sales@wainui.online or call the main number on 09 444 3437.

7 Can I try the course before joining?

Yes, you are welcome to play the Wainui 18 with payment of the posted green fee and should you join the club in any playing category within 30 days of paying and playing your round the green fee paid will be deducted from your yearly subscription fee.
